Houseplant Basics and Seasonal Care with Brent Smith

Join houseplant expert Brent to learn how to pick the right plant for different rooms in your home. Brent will explain low light vs. high light options, watering, and fertilizing tips, as well as how to troubleshoot common houseplant issues. Additionally, Brent will discuss how to transition plants that have summered outside back into the home and how to prepare houseplants for the winter ahead.

***All classes this summer will be held in our greenhouse Hoop House 2, which is located out in the yard of the nursery, near the trees and small fruits. It is a large greenhouse that functions as a covered outdoor area. If the weather is warm, we will have water available, but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
