The Spring Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Drop-off Event will take place on Saturday, May 2nd from 9 AM - 12:30 PM at the City of Waterloo Waste Management Services Facility at 3505 Easton Ave. Waterloo, Iowa. Registration for this event is required. To register, go to: https://wastetrac.org/spring-collection-event/
The Black Hawk County Solid Waste Management Commission is collaborating with the City of Cedar Falls, the City of Waterloo, Green Iowa AmeriCorps, and Black Hawk County Public Health Department, to sponsor this drop-off event for Black Hawk County residents to safely manage hazardous materials and electronics from their homes and garages (some fees may apply).
Volunteers are needed to help run this event, and without them, the event is not possible!
