Meet the Artists:

Deb Ruby (St. Pete, FL.)

Deb Ruby is a singer-songwriter whose songs exist like sprawling vines, opening to bloom. Originally from New York, Ruby spent five years working remotely while traveling the US, Central & South America, Europe and the Caribbean. She learned guitar and songwriting during this time, developing a musical style all her own, influenced less by conformity and more by self-reflection, nature, subculture and life musings.

June Bunch (St. Pete, FL.)

With a full-tank of vocal octaves, June Bunch began her songwriting career as a street performer in Asheville, NC. The self-taught musician sang her original songs between folky covers and gained traction as a local artist. Her spritely presence enticed crowd chemistry and carved long-lasting connections with listeners along the way. This eventually evolved into collaborations with multiple musicians as well. June established a songwriting circle and hosted multiple "Writers in the Round" to showcase the community's original talents. During quarantine, her first E.P. "Not Much and Then Some" was released, revealing a low-fi window into her home studio. The alternative folk player can be found belting ukulele tunes throughout her many home towns.

Melissa Grady (Tampa, FL.)

Melissa Grady’s music career is full of serendipitous moments. She first learned cello in 5th grade in order to avoid taking a history test. The first Tampa band she was in, Candy Bars, happened because the band’s guitar player gave her a CD to listen to, which she didn’t like at all - but it got stuck in her CD player and she grew to love it. And as a music teacher, she’s taught so long in Tampa that she continuously has opportunities to gig with her former students, even teaching their children in the classroom.
