The House Party is BACK… and this time, we’re flipping the record over.

On Sunday, October 11th, House Party Rewind takes over STFU in Navy Yard DC for another grown-folks night built around the music, dancing, and energy we remember from the house parties of the 80s & 90s.

“The B-Side” goes a little deeper. Of course you’ll hear the records everybody knows—but don’t be surprised when the DJ drops that forgotten album cut, remix, B-side, or old-school joint that makes the entire room yell:

We’re bringing back DJ E-Square to control the dance floor.

And just like House Party Rewind is supposed to be, this isn't somebody pressing play on an old-school playlist.

Expect REAL DJing—mixing, blending, scratching, cutting and turntablism—from a DJ who knows this era and knows how to move a grown dance floor.

We’re talking:

There will be a Soul Food truck outside STFU serving food throughout the event.

Food will be available for purchase separately, so you can grab a plate, come back inside, and keep the party going.

House Party Rewind was created for those of us who remember when the DJ actually mixed records, people came to dance, and hearing the right song could send an entire basement into a frenzy.
