The 'House of Mexico' of Balboa Park is proud to partner with 'The Old Globe' in Balboa Park to celebrate Mexican Independence Day.
The Old Globe, AXIS Mexican Independence day: This free, family-friendly event will feature an exciting lineup of binational artists and cultural offerings such as live music, folklórico dance performances, and arts and crafts.
This event will include a special guest appearance by the Mexican Consulate in San Diego to recite “El Grito de Dolores,” followed by a sing-along of the National Anthem.
We will also have a free Pinata making workshop so get here early !!
The House of Mexico: We will have our 3rd quarter Membership Drive at The Old Globe's Outdoor Copley Plaza where you can meet members of the HOM, get information on becoming a member, get information on upcoming events, come by the HOM cottage and see our new 'Tlaxcala' exhibit and Find out what exhibits are coming up.
If you love Music, Art, Dance and the Culture of Mexico you should come by, this will be Great !!!!
