Sophisticated Lady is a love letter in jazz. A recurring concert series by renowned trumpeter and storyteller Rob van de Wouw, each edition explores a different shade of love. This time: Old Love. The kind that once set you on fire, and now lives softly in memory.
Joined by his trusted quartet in TenClub’s lush Monster Room, Rob curates a one-of-a-kind musical journey through classic jazz and the Great American Songbook. Each piece is rearranged especially for this night. Between the notes, he shares stories – about music, love, silence, and everything that lingers in between.
