About this Event
After a year of nostalgia driven pop nights, we’re excited to launch our next series of club nights, House Hafla هاوس حفلة , presented by Ya Tab Tab (in partnership with MARSM Canada).
House Hafla is a platform dedicated to exploring the versatile sounds of electronic music, from Disco & House to Techno & Funk, through the self expression of the diaspora and beyond. We’re excited to be able to showcase the amazing talent of electronic artists from the SWANA region.
House Hafla offers chords and wide percussions with versatile electronic beats and deep melodies. Look forward to a night that celebrates the rhythm, culture and artistic diversity of Eastern Mediterranean music blended with global electronic music.

BABL
Based in Toronto, and comprised of childhood friends with roots in Palestine and Lebanon, BABL brings a global perspective to their music production.
The producer and DJ duo effortlessly fuse complex sound combinations from hiphop, chicago house, funk, disco, and jazz. It’s a sound which comes together perfectly to create tracks which have introduced a much needed sound to the local music scene.
BABL has already released a string of well regarded tracks and worked on orignal tracks with international artists making waves globally.

RAMI
Lebanese bred, Canadian based. Zaatar connoisseur by day and Deep House & Melodic Techno DJ by night.
Rami's style references the rhythms, cultural and artistic diversity of Eastern Mediterranean music blended with contemporary deep house.
His sets are characterized by a seamless blend of traditional Arabic vocals, Oud chords and Dirbake percussions with versatile electronic beats and deep melodies.
