Join us March 12 & 13, 2022 for HotWorks.org Sarasota ‘Open Air’ Fine Art Show located outdoors at Phillippi Estate Park, 5500 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.The event features quality professionally juried fine art and fine craft artists with all discipline for sale – paintings, clay, glass, sculpture, fiber, wood, jewelry and more – all juried by art professionals. All work is original and personally handmade by the artist who is present at the show. Great food and music add to the ambiance of this beautiful show.
COVID safety precautions in place such as the art show is held 100% outdoors, extra super wide aisles for social distancing, all booths are minimum 2’ apart, face coverings recommended, etc.
The associated 501c3 non-profit arm, Institute for the Arts & Education, focuses on visual arts, cultural diversity, community enrichment and fostering art education among youth. As part of our commitment to bring art education into the community, the Budding Artist Competitions for ages 9-19 or grades 6-12 is integrated within the art show with a 10x20 space. Sponsored by Institute for the Arts & Education, this program encourages students to enter his/her original art that is publicly displayed in the art show the entire weekend. On Sunday at 3pm, there is $250 Youth Art/Budding Artist Awards presented at the show as young artists are exposed to the rules and entrepreneurship of doing art shows for a living.
Free admission; $5 Parking supports IA&E and helps to pay the costs of producing the show.
