Bitch is a longstanding queer music icon who Yahoo Entertainment called “a feminist force that the world needs now more than ever” when she released “Bitchcraft,” her 9th studio album, on the legendary label K*ll Rock Stars in 2022. Come for an evening of electric violin-forward “poet pop,” storytelling and humor from the one-woman show she is developing. Bitch is known for her live shows and this one will not disappoint.
“Bitchcraft is a masterpiece,” said Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls. Both Indigo Girls and Ani Difranco took Bitch on tour as their opener.
Bitch first achieved notoriety as one half of the queer folk duo Bitch and Animal. The band toured with Ani DiFranco, and released two albums on her label Righteous Babe Records. In the mid 2000s, Bitch went solo, and shared stages with the Indigo Girls, acted in John Cameron Mitchell’s film “Shortbus,” co-wrote a song with Margaret Cho, and produced two albums of her elder and folk hero Ferron.
Recently, Bitch played a role in the new Audible podcast of Alison Bechdel’s “Dykes To Watch Out For,” alongside Jane Lynch, Carrie Brownstein and Roxane Gay. The series was directed by Leigh Silverman, and Bitch co-wrote a song for it with Faith Soloway.

“The legendary queer icon is back” Bust Magazine
“There’s no stopping her now” LA Weekly
“Bitch is a force to be reckoned with" Joey Soloway to MTV
“Bitch is a straight-up, real, fearless performer.” – Ani Difranco to Spin Magazine
“Bitchcraft is poppy and poetic and will put her on the map for new audiences to discover” Brooklyn Vegan

GARRISON STARR
Los Angeles, CA
Garrison Starr is the quintessential musical triple-threat, singer, songwriter, Grammy-nominated record producer, and her soon-to-be-released latest full-length album, Garrison Starr and The Gospel Truth, reveals her at the height of her powers.
Starr calls the new collection of songs, “Swamp Gospel Hymns for Humans,” the next chapter in her story of recovery and healing from her Evangelical Christian upbringing. Her previous album, "Girl I Used To Be,” released during the pandemic in March 2021, launched her exploration of deconstruction on the path towards self-love and forgiveness. “Girl I Used To Be” is the story of saying goodbye to what was, and The Gospel Truth is the story of the journey over the bridge to freedom.
Starr has been releasing singles from the new record over the last several months, following a number of TV placements on Monarch, Bull, and most recently, Walker: Independence, a consistent pattern for Starr throughout her remarkable career.
Starr is a celebrated singer of such remarkable reputation that music icons go out of their way to praise her. Glen Phillips declares, “Garrison’s voice goes straight to the gut. She reminds you of what it means to be human.” Mary Chapin Carpenter adds, “She just writes and sings her heart out. In the American Idolized landscape that constitutes today’s music business, she is someone to be thankful for.”
Her frequent collaborations with other artists have been both in the studio and on stage – Starr has toured with the likes of Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Bruce Cockburn, Patty Griffin, Mindy Smith, Glen Phillips, and The Indigo Girls, to name a few, logging hundreds of thousands of touring miles across the country and around the world.
The forthcoming record is called Garrison Starr and The Gospel Truth, and the new single, “It’s Alright” is out now.
