The 36th Annual Bronco Motors Hot Truck Nationals is set for Sat., May 4. The race is staged in conjunction with a two day stop in the Boise Muffler Gold Cup Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts.Gates will open at 8 am followed by first round of racing at 2 pm.
Gold Cup racing will include racing in: Super Pro, Pro, Pro Comp, Sportsman, Sled/Bike, Nostalgia and Jr. Dragster (and Jr. Street specifically on Sat., too). Nostalgia eliminator will also be contested on Saturday.
The Pro Truck (14.99 & quicker) and Street Truck (15.00 & slower) classes will battle it out on the quarter-mile. New for 2024 will be the inaugural C-10 Truck class. All truck racing categories will be handicapped bracket eliminators on the quarter-mile.
Neil's Rod & Custom is adding $100 ea. to the Pro Truck, Street Truck & C-10 champions. Plus $100 ea. to the Best of Show-Custom Truck, Best of Show-Restored Truck and Best of Show-Mini Truck selections.
Plus we'll recognize the best supported truck club at this year's event. Additionally, we will be awarding several more Truck "show pick" plaques, too, with show parking reserved in Firebird's paved upper pit area.
Pre-event parking will be available on Fri. evening, May 3, from 4:30-6:30 pm (or you can start pre-parking and racer check in starting at 8 am on Sat).
