HOT The Exhibit: Approaching Menopause with Intuitive Wisdom

Let’s dive into the reality and the wisdom of the menopause experience with the intention of creating a sense of strength and empowerment during our transitional years.
This two hour exploratory workshop presented by Katy Troy and the Women’s Collective will consist of three parts: A discussion, an experiential exercise and a guided hypnosis meditation. Everything we are doing is designed to allow you to shift into a more expansive mindset for the peri-menopasal and menopausal experiences and allow you to take away a fresh perspective and tools for your own journey.
The first portion of the workshop will focus on creating community as we shift the conversation around menopause to uncover deep truths and a sense of empowerment.
The experiential portion of this workshop will consist of learning more about the power of tuning into sensation, being present with our own body’s experience and learning how to feel grounded during times of overwhelm and discomfort.
After a 15 minute break, we will rejoin for an introduction to the hypnosis process, as well as offering an explanation of the benefit of hypnosis during the menopausal years. There will be space to ask and answer questions so that we can properly prepare for a guided hypnosis meditation, designed to quiet your thinking mind and connect you to your inner wisdom. After the meditation, there will be exploratory prompts and guidance on how to stay connected to the experiential portions of the workshop.
Expect to connect to your own personal power, as well as the power of community coming together. You will discover new tools, have the opportunity to experience transformational shifts and expand your understanding of your own menopausal journey.
