About The Hood Garden
The Hood Garden is a Homewood-based urban farm founded by Trina Goggins. Since 2016, Trina has transformed her backyard into a thriving garden specializing in rare hot peppers, heirloom seeds, and small-batch hot sauces—taking the fear out of spicy foods with flavor-forward creations. Through Phipps Conservatory's Homegrown program, she went from being wary of dirt to becoming a passionate educator committed to empowering others, especially children to grow their own food.
