Every second Wednesday of the month, from 8pm to 11pm, we host a free* and open hot jazz jam & dance for our community. We partner with SwingColumbus each month to host a free 15 minute solo charleston dance lesson to teach you some steps you can use all night.
*Can you bring $5? We can use your help to keep this every month, free! ... and indoors 😉 Also, we can accept all the usual payment methods (PayPal, Venmo, Debit, Credit, etc) to keep this going year-round.
Our friends + partners at Rambling House need our help to keep this going! We'll pass the Tip Jar around ... please bring a $5 bill to help with RH's expenses. If most of the "usual crowd" is willing to put in $5, that goes a long way to keeping this - and Rambling House - stable + sustainable.

Before the bandstand gets into action, a SwingColumbus instructor will teach more "hot dance" Charleston moves to help folks enjoy dancing to the fast tempos of many trad jazz tunes. Dance Lesson starts at 8:30, followed by the Jam. Always plenty of people there happy to share and help with steps, songs, and techniques.
