Hot Jazz & Craft Beer at Barcelona’s First Brewpub
About this Event
Friday the 13th? Lucky you.
Join us for a night of live hot jazz and swing at La Cervesera Artesana, the craft-beer pioneer of Gràcia, brewing its own beer on Carrer Sant Agustí since 1996.
The music
[Noel & Javo] bring the sound of 1920s and ’30s jazz straight to the bar: Noel on trumpet and vocals, Javo on resonator guitar and vocals. Expect New Orleans standards, early swing and plenty of good humour. Come to listen, come to dance, or just tap your foot over a pint.
The beer
The brewery is right there behind the bar, and they brew over a dozen of their own beers on site, alongside 80–100 bottled references. Don’t miss:
- Beer Nostrum, a gold-medal Imperial Oyster Stout that matures in amphorae under the sea in the Ebro Delta. It’s one of a kind.
- Iberian Boletus, their autumn seasonal brewed with wild mushrooms.
- Hoppy Gin, Catalonia’s first gin distilled with hops, if you’d rather have a G&T.
Gluten-free options are available.
The food
A kitchen made for beer: tapas and dishes designed to pair with their brews, with plenty of vegetarian options.
