Hot Glass Hangout & Studio Sale: Studio Futures Edition

See the skills and teamwork that go into shaping molten glass, meet friendly local artists, and shop a pop-up Studio Sale featuring beautiful glassware crafted by our community. Soft drinks and snacks are on the house.

This month’s featured artists: 

Bella Carlos, Ash Espinoza, Auzzie Dodson & Tyler Green (2023-24 Studio Futures scholars)

Studio Futures: The UrbanGlass Scholarship Fund aims to foster diverse voices in the field of glass art by providing full scholarships for BIPOC identifying creatives ages 15-24 who want to learn glassmaking processes and build skills to use in their art practice moving forward.

If you’d like to support free programs at UrbanGlass, please consider purchasing a $10 ticket. Proceeds from ticket sales and 30% of Studio Sale purchases go towards covering the cost of this event and other accessible programming at UrbanGlass (70% of Studio Sale purchases goes directly to the artists). 

UrbanGlass is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that depends on the generosity of donors. Here are some other ways you can support our work:

• Purchase a $300 Patrons Ticket: A Patrons ticket covers the studio equipment cost of this Hot Glass Hangout. As a thank you for supporting the event, Patrons receive a glass gift made by an artist in our studio and VIP seats (2) at our event.
