Members of Pittsburgh DSA want to support the community of Wilkinsburg and anyone in need by hosting a Hot Food Distro. (Distro is short for distribution!)Join us on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at Community Forge. We try to be outside in nice weather but we are able to be inside for rainy/cold weather.
If you need a hot meal or some groceries for free, come by! We usually have a variety of cooked and prepared foods as well as some grab-and-go things like vegetables for you to make your own meals. It's different every time!
Everyone is welcome to volunteer with us--bring a meal, side dish, dessert, or groceries/resources that can be saved for future distributions or given to Community Forge's emergency pantry.
Leftovers are packaged and given to other groups that do food distros on the weekends, so nothing goes to waste. :)
