HOT CHOCOLATE RIDES: Bike Tours in Harlem

What?! Ride a bike in cold weather?!

Yes, we're teaming up with our friends at for a series of rides that will take you to some of the best coffee shops and eateries across Harlem, where you can warm up with tastes of everything from Italian mochas to Mexican hot chocolate, from Cuban coffee to West African lattes and more.

Ride leaders will also share tips for riding during winter weather, so you can brush up on how to gear up and be seen, tire pressure, and what to do if there's muck or ice.

The series kicks off on and runs each Saturday until Christmas.

No bike? No worry. Let us know in advance and we can provide both bikes and helmets. Please email [email protected] by noon on the Friday before your ride if you will be needing either, so that we may make reservations for you.

We welcome riders of all levels, with rides geared toward those who are familiar with riding and the rules of the road. Ages 18 and up.
