Hot Buttered Soul returns to The Love Inn on Saturday 22nd August for another night dedicated to the deeper side of disco culture.
Joining us is Felix Joy, a masterful selector known for seamlessly blending disco, boogie, Italo, Balearic and leftfield dance music, always taking the dancefloor somewhere special.
We’re also joined by DJ CDQ (Higher Power), whose impeccable record collection spans underground disco, cosmic grooves, rare boogie and soulful oddities. Expect adventurous selections, deep cuts and serious dancefloor energy.
Completing the lineup is Hot Buttered Soul resident Mike Shawe, whose decades of digging and DJing continue to shape Bristol’s underground scene. Expect a carefully curated journey through soulful disco, boogie and house, played with the warmth and musicality that Hot Buttered Soul is known for.
All of this is delivered through The Love Inn’s incredible Danley Sound Labs sound system—one of the finest club systems in the city—bringing every groove, bassline and percussion hit to life exactly as it should be heard.
