Hot Brown Smackdown is a dynamic, high-energy newgrass band hailing from Louisville, KY. Known for their electrifying live performances and unique sound, the band combines traditional bluegrass instrumentation with elements of rock, jazz, and funk to create a sound that is both avante-garde and timeless.

Over the years Hot Brown Smackdown has earned a growing reputation for their impressive musicianship, infectious energy, and complex compositions. With a lineup consisting of Arthur Geissler on drums and vocals, Patrick Schroering on mandolin and vocals, John Blum on banjo, Ellie Ruth Miller on fiddle, Justin Cecil on bass, and Anthony Le on guitar, this smokin' 6 piece band has become a fixture in the Appalachian music scene.

With a self-titled release in 2021, the band quickly established themselves as one of the hottest bands in the circuit, delivering a newgrass-fusion sound all of their own. The band has continued to evolve and hone their craft, releasing a slew of musically amazing singles along the way and is currently mid-production on their sophomore album.

The Bibelhauser Brothers combine twin brother harmonies with award winning original songs and instrumental prowess to create high octane bluegrass-country-soul sounds from the heart of Kentucky. In addition to writing songs for award winning bluegrass artists Del McCoury, Balsam Range, Michael Cleveland, & Dale Ann Bradley, Aaron Bibelhauser is an accomplished session musician, producer, recording engineer, and longtime host of the weekly broadcast “Bluegrass Evolution” on 91.9 WFPK in Louisville. His twin brother, Adam has spent the past two decades developing one of the most powerful voices in bluegrass and his own style as a bassist with a commanding presence, both on and off stage. Both twins have endured lifelong friendships with their bandmates Jeff Guernsey and Steve Cooley; two of the finest pickers in the country who have carried their bluegrass roots around the globe, on stage and in the studio with iconic artists including the Dillards, Steve Warner, Vince Gill and more.
