Throughout the Horus Heresy, the Tanks of the Adeptus Astartes ran roughshod across countless worlds, grinding rock and corpse alike beneath gargantuan treads while leveling buildings and mowing down Squads of heavily-armed Marines with terrifying turret weapons. With Horus Heresy about to get underway in the Shop, it's certainly time to get even more of those amazing machines of war painted up!! This round of our Horus Heresy Painting Competition Series is focused on Tanks and Vehicles. Maybe you scored yourself one of those awesome Kratos Tanks? Perhaps you, like many of us, grabbed the Age of Darkness Box and have an amazing new Spartan to build and paint!! Maybe you've got a Termite Assault Drill just begging for a coat of Purple...? Or maybe you come in and order a Vindicator or Predator, and give it the Legion treatment... Whatever your flavor, if they were chugging around killing things during the Heresy, they are good to go for this Competition!! We'll be taking submission starting on July 16th, and you'll have 2 whole weeks to bring them by before the final day on the 30th. Then we'll do a Facebook spread, along with in-store voting for the models that are on display, and we'll announce the winners on the second weekend of August!!
