The clash at Beta Garmon is happening all around, as titans smash in the distance and demi-gods square off to determine who will make it to the walls of Terra.
But during all of this smaller forces are still part of the overall battle, and any glory they attain is quickly dashed as part of the butcher's bill being paid...
Day Format:
We'll be playing 3 games at roughly 2,000points. These games are using missions from the Beta Garmon book (Or Siege of Cthonia), and have some specific limitations.
- No Prinmarchs or Special Characters may be taken. Some are in system, and some are part of this conflict, but they are meant for much more grand things than the meat grinder.
- No Super Heavies or Lords of War may be taken. They are mainly purposed fighting larger targets.
- Forlorn Hope: Pick one unit to be your vanguard. This cannot be an Elite or HQ unit. These are the poor warriors who will be sent in first, and will likely see the highest casualties, but also the most of the fleeting glory to be had on this field. This unit gains Feel No Pain 5+ (Or +1 to an existing Feel No Pain to a maximum of 4+) and automatically pass all Leadership based tests except Psychic tests (Just because you've accepted your death doesn't stop the Warp from it's hunger).
