Hortonfest is a celebration of Brian Horton's birthday and 20 years of Horton Records, a non-profit music organization supporting Oklahoma musicians. You'll experience a full slate of live music from Tulsa-area musicians and national touring bands, along with free gumbo (while it lasts) and other surprises. Fun for all.

The Tulsa Revue featuring Grammy-nominated John Fullbright, Paul Benjaman, Jesse Aycock, Jacob Tovar & special guests. A live revue experience done Tulsa-style, with quality players and a sense of community. Expect surprises and special guests.
JD Simo & Luther Dickinson - Individually, JD Simo and Luther Dickinson are building their own legacies as solo artists, sidemen, songwriters, and guitar heroes. Ian Moore - Blending blues-rock, Southern soul, gospel, and Beatles-influenced pop, Ian Moore has created a unique sound that evolved from his Texas blues-rock roots. A fearless and passionate live performer, Moore plays shows like they are the last thing he will ever do. Though he is known for his skills as a singer, guitarist, and songwriter, the ferocity and spirit are his stock-in-trade. He plays to create a communion with his audience, seeking a connection to elevate and heal. When he writes, his songs dance with the darkness, but always hold the promise of redemption and light.
Mike Mattison & Trash Magic - This new group led by Grammy-award winning singer for Tedeschi Trucks Band is a super group of sorts, also featuring Tedeschi Trucks Band drummer, Tyler “Falcon” Greenwell, and former Dr. John guitarist, Dave Yoke, along with Little Rock’s Greg Spradlin. A funky, soulful, amalgamation of sounds that’s sure to get folks movin’.

A note from Mr. Horton... The first Hortonfest was a surprise birthday party for Brian Horton at Dilly Deli (before it became Dilly Diner) in 2010. It was hosted by musicians, friends & family, and about 400 people showed up with a lot of different bands playing. The next year rolled around, and folks were asking if it was going to happen again. Fassler Hall had just opened, and we put together a weekend of shows with touring bands and Tulsa bands and Paul Benjaman formally called it "Hortonfest". That continued for a few years, and then we retired Hortonfest when we started the Rock n Folk n Chili Cook Off. Well, it's back! On January 24, 2026, it's my birthday, I've decided to leave my corporate job, and it just so happens to be approximately 20 years of Horton Records. We've pulled together a lineup of artists that we've built relationships with over the years. They all love Tulsa and its music scene and I consider all of them honorary Tulsans. Good people, one and all, and they just happen to be incredible, passionate musicians - just like our Oklahoma artists! Speaking of, The Tulsa Revue set will be a special performance with special guests sprinkled throughout the show. Not announced yet, but coming soon, we'll also have a show on Friday night, Jan 23rd at Tulsa VFW and a brunch/matinee show at Fassler Hall on Sunday, Jan 25th. We want folks to come to Tulsa and spend the weekend with us and soak up all the music that they can.
