This course is aimed at a wide range of learners who want to work within the horticulture industry, or similar field and want to progress to other related qualificationsLearning outcomes include:
Be able to prepare and plant leaf and/or stem cuttings
Be able to prune free standing fruit trees in winter
Propagate plants by vegetative methods (cuttings and grafting)
Be able to prepare rootstock and scion material and be able to graft
Be able to sow seeds outdoors by hand
Sow seeds outdoors
This course will take place on Mondays – 16th September 2024 – 31st March 2025
This course is open to adults aged 19+ (in August 24) who have completed L1 Horticulture City & Guilds or who have experience of volunteering/working in this setting

Further info: The Nissan Hut is at the top end of Eastville Park, directly across the road from The Queens Head Pub, with a foot path leading to the premises. There is also parking which is accessed on the 1st left turning as you drive past the access footpath across from The Queens Head Pub
