David Rettig is the garden builder of Wellfield's Peace Garden and is the aesthetic pruner for the Island and Peace Garden. David's class will focus on the design principles and philosophies of Japanese Gardens that create these tranquil spaces. The class will include an informal stroll through the Peace Garden highlighting what was taught, with opportunities for questions and comments. Discover the ideas behind the artistry that have connected people to nature and themselves for over a millennia in the Japanese Garden tradition.This class includes admission to the Gardens and is $10 for public adults, $8 for Wellfield members. Registration required; space is limited and we expect this class to sell out! This class will take place outdoors; please dress for the weather. Should we have severe weather, we reserve the right to reschedule; your registration will be moved. Sorry, no refunds.
