Horror Storytelling Workshop w/ Bruce Ryan Costella

BOO! ? Just in time for Halloween: a workshop dedicated to the creation and performance of original scary stories!

Led by award-winning solo theater artist Bruce Ryan Costella (Spooky & Gay), this workshop aims to:

• PEEK FROM UNDER THE COVERS - discover what scares you and how to fictionalize it
• OPEN THE RUSTY TOOLBOX - utilize various craft and writing techniques to embellish the story you want to tell
• CRAWLING ONTO THE STAGE - writing horror is different from performing it - learn ways to better perform your scary story
• IT'S ALIVE! - you may even come away from the workshop with the start of a new story!

• Please bring a preferred writing method (laptop, pen + paper)
• If you have any accessibility needs, please email [email protected] ahead of the workshop and I will do my best to meet them. This venue uses stairs, but an elevator is available upon request.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Bruce Ryan Costella (he/they) is a lifelong Orlandoan. He has toured his work as a soloi theatermaker, writer and scary guy across the U.S. and Canada. This Halloween he will be performing in Scotland at the Edinburgh Horror Festival.
