EMBRYO — A Tribute to Black Sabbath
Embryo is a Charleston-based Black Sabbath tribute built on a shared passion for classic heavy rock.
Founded in 2016 and revived in 2025 after a hiatus, Embryo brings together longtime local players Riley Randall, Mike Cashwell, Danny Reich and Russell Lee, all of whom have spent years performing throughout the Lowcountry music scene.
Rather than attempting a theatrical impersonation, Embryo focuses on what matters: the music. Heavy riffs, massive grooves and the songs that helped create heavy metal.
HORROR BUSINESS — A Tribute to The Misfits
Horror Business is Charleston’s tribute to The Misfits, originally started by Ian Grady in 2013.
After years of playing venues around Charleston and a brief hiatus, Horror Business is back with a lineup of familiar faces from the local music scene:
Ian Grady — Black Sky, Eddie and the Strangers
CJ Deluca — Florida Man, Drunk Couples
Jonathan Peace — Florida Man, Ounce of Pain, Godwin Falcon
JR Spencer — Majic Dust, See Water
Expect a set packed with Misfits favorites and the raw, fast, loud energy those songs deserve.
