The Deadly Spawn is a 1983 classic shot in New Jersey that combines amazing creature design with an inexplicable contempt for vegetarians. Shot almost entirely within the filmmakers' houses for under $20k, this movie is a triumph of animatronics, less-than-convincing scale models, and flooded basements.
