Horns & Crowns: A Fantasy Regalia Workshop

This event will be held in the 3rd Floor Ballroom at 1401 Tower Avenue.
Calling all fairies, royalty, woodland creatures, warriors, villains, mystics, and beautifully dramatic humans.
Join Rebel Threads and Sue Henderson of PolyPaws Ensembles for an afternoon of creating fantasy-inspired wearable regalia. Participants will move through hands-on creative stations while learning techniques for making horns, floral crowns, headpieces, accessories, and other character details.
No advanced sewing or costume experience is required. Come with a character in mind or simply show up ready to experiment.
WanderingFox will be on-site with tea included with your ticket, plus an optional tea cupping add-on for $17 per person during the last hour. Rebel Threads will provide food and refreshments.
Please note: per building policy, glitter is not permitted in the ballroom space.
The whole building is getting in on the fun this August, stay tuned for a few surprises around 1401 Tower Ave.
Registration: $20 for a Small horn set, $40 for a Large horn set. Optional add-ons (ears, tails, floral, jewelry) are arranged directly with PolyPaws Ensembles, not through this event page.
Limited to 20 participants. Ages 8-10 and up, minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Advance registration is required through our website. The registration form will include space to share allergies, dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, medications, tea preferences, or other information that may help us provide a safe and welcoming workshop.
Come make something worthy of a throne, forest court, battlefield, tea party, or Renaissance fair.
