About this Event
Join Newson Clinic clinician Dr Jo Sewell for an informative and restorative experience designed to support women through every stage of hormonal change.
Breathing is something we often take for granted. Hormonal fluctuations can affect the way we breathe, contributing to symptoms such as anxiety, hot flushes, fatigue, poor sleep, palpitations, dizziness and brain fog. This free event will explore how simple breathing techniques can support overall wellbeing and help manage symptoms alongside hormone treatment.
Dr Jo Sewell will explain how changes in progesterone and oestrogen can impact breathing patterns, including why some women experience breathlessness or begin snoring when their hormones fluctuate. You’ll also learn why normal nasal breathing is so important for wellbeing and how dysfunctional breathing can affect both physical and emotional health.
The session will include guided breathing exercises to help increase awareness of your breathing, introduce simple techniques to support healthier breathing patterns, and provide practical tools you can incorporate into everyday life.
Suitable for all levels, this complimentary event offers a calming and accessible introduction to breathwork, with a focus on understanding and supporting your body through hormonal change.
