The Johns Hopkins University Debate Council would like to formally invite you all to a physics-filled, potentially energetic weekend in the spring-laden streets of Baltimore, on April 4th-5th. Debaters will navigate the principles of being a spring at a spring tournament during the Spring 2025 Johns Hopkins Tournament: Spring has Sprung! This tournament will be a Gender-Minority (GM) tournament, so participation will be exclusive to gender-minorities. We will be hosting 5 rounds of loose-link American Parliamentary debate, with a break of Varsity Quarters and Novice Finals. Though we reserve the right to alter break size depending on external factors such as number of teams attending, judge availability, etc; we aim to break all 4-1s. We will be a semi-open tournament, meaning non eligible debaters will be granted permission to compete at a higher fee. This tournament is closed speaks/ranks, open (required) disclosure of Win/Loss. We have a judge requirement.
