Prerequisites: This course is suitable for qualified and trainee practitionersAuricular Therapy, or Hopi ear candling is a safe and gentle treatment, used by many complementary therapists to support clients with a range of symptoms including head pains, sinus problems and hayfever. For many, it help to manage symptoms and can also help to relax and reduce stress and tension.
In this course, we will look at the safe use of ear candles and how they can be brought into your practice.
We will examine:
- The history of Hopi Ear Candling (auricular therapy) -
Contraindications to treatment
- Safe use of candles
- How to combine ear candling with other therapies
- Benefits of treatment
You will be required to carry out case studies and to write a short assignment.
