About the musicians

Hopeless Semantics is a well-loved acoustic duo throughout south central PA, northern VA, MD, and WV. This duo plays a wide variety of Americana music, including classic rock, country, blues, folk, and bluegrass, with a focus on engaging the crowd and playing requests. They use multiple 6-string guitars, combined with 12-string guitar, mandolin, and keyboard, as well as some of the best lead/harmony vocals in the area, to provide a very diverse and memorable show.
"Mandolin Mike" Slusser is a talented and gifted mandolin player and multi-instrumentalist with over three decades of experience under his belt, much of it in Nashville. He has established himself as a virtuosic and versatile player who is equally at home playing traditional bluegrass tunes or exploring more contemporary genres, while singing lead and harmony vocals.
Linda Null is best know for her dynamic and soulful vocals and has a loyal following in South Central PA as well as Northern VA. With a voice reminiscent of Etta James and Janis Joplin, she sings lead, plays keys and guitar, and also joins Mike to create vocal harmonies you won't soon forget!
