On May 1, join us for a powerful First Friday art experience in downtown Colorado Springs.Hope Springs Forth: Healing After Homelessness is a portrait exhibit hosted by Springs Rescue Mission featuring museum-quality, large-format photography by nationally recognized photographer Aaron Anderson.
Each portrait captures the face and story of someone who once experienced homelessness in Colorado Springs—but whose story did not end there.
Through recovery, support, and community, these individuals found a path forward. Their portraits stand as powerful reminders that healing is possible.
Join us for an evening of art, conversation, and community.
Walk through a gallery of striking portrait prints, meet members of the Springs Rescue Mission community, and learn about the journeys behind each image.
A special Hope Springs Forth photo book will be available for purchase during the event. All proceeds support Springs Rescue Mission programs that provide:
• Emergency shelter
• Addiction recovery support
• Job readiness and life skills training
• Long-term pathways out of homelessness
This event is part of downtown Colorado Springs’ First Friday Art Walk and is free and open to the public.
Come encounter the stories behind the faces—and see how hope can spring forth in even the hardest seasons of life.
