About this Event

Build a support system with people who understand.

Alzheimer’s Association® caregiver support groups, conducted by trained facilitators, are a safe place for caregivers, family and friends of persons with dementia to:

• Develop a support system.

• Exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions.

• Talk through issues and ways of coping.

• Share feelings, needs and concerns.

• Learn about community resources.

This in-person support group meets the second Thursday of each month from 6 pm to 7 pm. Participation is in person only. For the safety of our constituents, volunteers, and staff, everyone attending an indoors Association program or event must wear a mask and social distance.

Registration is required for each meeting. Please call our toll free Helpline at 1.800.272.3900 to register.

Offered through the Alzheimer's Association, Illinois Chapter - Springfield office . The Springfield office of the Alzheimer's Association Illinois Chapter serves 12 counties in Central Illinois.
