Hope in the Midst of Unseen Battles: Vividbound + City of Raleigh Outreach
About this Event
Hope in the Midst of Unseen Battles ~ Behind Closed Doors
Vividbound, in partnership with the City of Raleigh, invites you to join us for our 2026 Community Outreach Event—a powerful day centered on hope, encouragement, connection, empowerment, and discernment.
Many people are facing battles that others cannot see. Sometimes everything may appear okay on the outside while something very different is happening behind closed doors. This year's outreach will encourage our community to look beyond what is visible, recognize when someone may need support, listen without judgment, and understand how to connect individuals with appropriate resources.
Most importantly, this event is about HOPE the reminder that even in the midst of an unseen battle, support exists, resources are available, and no one has to navigate difficult circumstances alone.
What Can You Expect?
Throughout the day, attendees will experience:
- An empowering survivor speaking session featuring Shanae Cox ~“When Everything Looked Okay”
- Inspiring and educational speaking engagements
- A featured step performance by the Empowering Steppers
- Featured vocalist Lydia Salett Dudley
- Live music by Tru & Cory
- An exclusive premiere of the trailer for the upcoming film LETTERS
- A thought-provoking community panel discussion centered on recognizing unseen battles and knowing how to respond when something does not feel right
- Participation from Barbershop Therapy Men's Group
