Youth Environment Summit at Tropicana Field.Inspired by environmental superhero Dr. Jane Goodall, the Roots & Shoots Alliance is empowering young people to take action. Future conservationists in grades 4 and up are invited, individually or in groups, to share, envision, and inspire a bright future for Tampa Bay and its surrounding cities. Speech by Jane Goodall to follow at 7 p.m.
Several Pinellas County divisions are attending including Watershed Protection, Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment, Water and Navigation, Ecological Services, Beach and Coastal Management, Urban Forestry, and Vegetation and Mosquito Control. Meet your local environmental professionals and learn about current initiatives and ways you can get involved!
