Hope in Action: Care Package Event
About this Event
This will be a gathering of friends, family, and community members! Our goal is to assemble 30 thoughtful care packages filled with self-care items, summer-themed treats, and encouraging messages. These packages are intended to provide a reminder that someone cares and that our community is thinking of them during a difficult time.
Each attendee is asked to sponsor one care package through a minimum $20 donation, which helps cover the cost of supplies for the event. To avoid Eventbrite processing fees, please send your donation directly via Venmo to @Brooke-French-21 to reserve your spot.
All care package supplies will be provided, and we’ll assemble the packages together during the event. Guests are also welcome (but not required) to bring additional new, unopened items to add to the care packages or donate directly to Friendship Home.
Additional donations above $20 are always appreciated and will help us create even more care packages for families in need.
The theme for our care packages is Summer Fun! Feel free to wear your favorite summer-inspired outfit and join us for an afternoon of giving back.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
This is not an official Friendship Home event, but rather a community-led effort to support the important work they do and the individuals and families they serve.
Together, we can put hope into action, one care package at a time. 💜
