On the heels of last year’s Strings of Hope event experience, the REID Foundation proudly presents an epic evening of Hope, Healing & Harmony ??✌️ at the Davidson Theatre in the Riffe Center Studio Theatres on Monday, November 6th!
A rich, rollercoaster ride for the five senses, Hope, Healing & Harmony was created to inspire you being your best version of self in the presence of others.

The Vindys
The Vindys from Youngstown, Ohio is an alt-rock band that delivers ripping guitars, a driving horn section, and powerhouse vocals led by front woman Jackie Popovec with a sweet and sultry style reminiscent of Amy Winehouse. You might have heard their song “Are You Ready” which has been used to promote several sports franchises as well as in ESPN commercials, and their latest music video “Bugs” screened at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival. Their sophomore album Bugs represents a dynamic listening experience.
Worthington Chamber Orchestra
The Worthington Chamber Orchestra (WCO), formerly McConnell Arts Center Chamber Orchestra, was founded in 2013 by Dr. Antoine T. Clark. The chamber orchestra’s mission is to support local artists while providing diverse and dynamic programming that entertains, inspires, and fosters music education. WCO cultivates meaningful relationships between artists and the Worthington community.
Shiah Luna
Shiah Luna is a Native Mexican American Singer, Songwriter, and Actress in Los Angeles, California. Shiah feels deeply called to create music that connects and allows her to give back. This is a return engagement for Shiah, having performed at the REID Foundation Strings of Hope Concert in 2022.
Hilary Phelps - Mistress of Ceremony
In addition to being the second fastest swimmer in the Phelps family, Hilary works with brands and people who are making a positive impact in the world, primarily in the health, wellness and addiction recovery space. In 2022, Hilary publicly shared her story of healing and sobriety for the first time. Since then, she has been driven to help and empower others by sharing her addiction recovery journey.
The REID Foundation’s mission is to Reach Everyone In Distress (REID) with the Healing Power of Music and Creative Expression. The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing “front-line therapy” and prevention to communities and those impacted by the opioid crisis, substance abuse, mental health issues, or life crisis.
The Foundation provides creative arts programming, training, and consultative support for community agencies through partnerships with board-certified music therapists, specially trained artists & musicians, and healthcare & education professionals to empower program participants to explore their creativity and promote healing, growth, and wellness. The REID Foundation has partnered with 12 agencies to provide healing programming through music at 15 sites. HHWA music programming sites are located in 7 Ohio counties: Franklin, Pickaway, Knox, Union, Athens, Perry, and Muskingum. Three of these are Appalachian counties.
