Hope for the Holidays

Here they come again - those happy/not-so-happy holidays. It's not unusual to look forward to the upcoming holidays with both anticipation and anxiety. We put so much attention on being thankful, and having a "holly jolly" time of year. But what if we're not thankful - or not so happy -as these days approach? What if we're missing a loved one, due to death or just living far away? Or our job status has changed? Or our health isn't what it's been in the past? What if we've moved to a new town? Or our family looks different because of a divorce or separation?
As we plan for these days, many in our church and community may be feeling lonely, left out, sad, depressed, hopeless, or just "meh." That's why we're offering these free, one-time sessions led by Messiah's own Lois Hall, on how to cope in these times (in person and/or online), for learning and conversation around how to find Hope for the Holidays. We're saving a place for you (and someone you know).
