Hope for the Holidays: Christmas Tree of Hope Lighting – 50th Anniversary
About this Event
Celebrate 50 years of the Christmas Tree of Hope at its new home in Hess Village! Join the Rotary Club of Hamilton, Hess Village and Corus Radio for a free, family-friendly holiday celebration on Friday, November 20, 2026.
Festivities run from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Hess Street in Hess Village, downtown Hamilton. The tree lighting takes place at 6:00 p.m., followed by a visit from Santa. Enjoy a holiday market, seasonal entertainment and activities for kids. Everyone is welcome.
Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy or make a donation. The Christmas Tree of Hope raises funds for local children’s charities, while Operation Santa Claus collects new toys for children and families.
Founded by 900 CHML in 1976, this downtown Hamilton tradition continues under the stewardship of the Rotary Club of Hamilton.
