The Vintage Vixens are delighted to present an informative session focused on promoting hope and healing, specifically addressing Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This interactive event aims to raise awareness about MST and PTSD, providing valuable techniques and strategies for coping with these traumas, which can be applied personally or shared with those affected.
Keynote speakers include:
- Helen Bricka, sharing her experiences as a spouse, and discussing Awareness Symptoms from a spouse's perspective.
- Chaplain Melinda Ryans will discuss accessing help, Veteran Resources, and VEAC, in her capacity as American Legion District 15 and Post 212 Chaplain.
Additional topics include:
- Grounding Techniques
- The American Legion's PTSD Awareness Program "Be The One"
