✨ Kick off 2025 with movement, music, and community at our New Year’s Day Ecstatic Dance with DJ Hooplah. Release the old, embrace the new, and dance your way into the year. DJ Hooplah (Joshua Roberts) began DJing in 1993 after going to an underground dance party and experiencing live turntable mixing in person. He has been spinning ever since. With beginnings in trance and techno, his style blossomed following his introduction to Ecstatic Dance. Combining world-bass, ethnic music, tribal beats, breaks, house, psy-bass, and downtempo, he weaves multi genre journeys that take the dancer around the world. Hooplah has played sets all over, including events in: Salt Lake City, Trinity Hot springs, Burning Man, Incandescence, Decompression, Colorado, Unleash!, Guatemala Eagles Nest, Hawaii, Boise and Idaho Falls. He also owns Xstatic Sound, providing large scale sound for festivals and dance venues. Hooplah will see you on the dance floor!
