About this Event

HOOPFEST 2026 is the premier annual basketball event activating the CURTIS JONES PARK.

This three-day event weaves together basketball, active and healthy lifestyles, and community all in an effort to celebrate the neighborhood and the life of the legendary Curtis Jones.

Join us on Saturday, July 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for DAY 2 of the celebration!

DAY 2 will feature:

• Pistons Academy
• A men's skills competition (free throw and 3-pointer)
• A women's skills competition (free throw and 3-pointer)
• An adult and youth KNOCKOUT competition
• Delicious local food trucks
• More fun to be announced!

Registration for the skills competitions be done on-site on a first-come, first-serve basis.

This event is FREE but registration is required.
