Hooked on Sonics returns with "Projecting Sound", an evening of audio thrown outward as texture, image, pressure and atmosphere. Jason Ward, Authorless, Monkey Johnson Trio, Carl Kruger and CHANGES TO blind approach sound as something physical and unstable: modular tones, dark electronics, doom-jazz drift, harsh-noise eruptions and abstract performance shaped into immersive forms. The night casts sound across the room like shadow and light, revealing strange dimensions in vibration, distortion and collective sonic imagination.
