About this Event

The Long Reach Community Association and the Columbia Association are teaming up with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources to provide a free fishing tutorial geared for children ages 8-15. The tutorial reviews casting technique, angler ethics, catch and release, fish identification, safety, as well as a dedicated time for participants to fish. The event will take place on Wednesday, at Jackson Pond in Long Reach from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. All fishing equipment will be provided. Please bring any personal gear you may need (hats, water bottle, etc.). Children of all ability and experience levels are welcome!
