A fundraising event for our Charity Of The Month Dementia Friendly, Swansea's Dementia Information Centre.

Dementia Friendly is an organisation located in Swansea centre. Their purpose is to spread awareness about dementia and how we can help someone carry on with their daily lives and still feel included.

They work closely with the community and encourage local businesses to be more Dementia friendly. This could be helping someone find the right bus or being patient in a till queue if someone with dementia is taking longer to pay; Every action counts.

We're teaming up with the Bucking Burritos team to bring the flavours of Mexico to Hoogah for the evening. From Margaritas to Nachos and Burritos, come and get involved and show your support for our charity this month!

Being a Dementia Friend isn’t about volunteering or fundraising (although you can do that too if you want). To become a friend you simply need to inform yourself, watch a short video online or join an information session in your area.
