On Saturday, September 27, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, bring the whole family for a special interpretive program! Kids and nature lovers of all ages can dive into hands-on activities, guided nature walks, and the thrill of putting names to the wild things you see. Learn how to use the iNaturalist app, practice real-world identification skills, and discover how YOU can be a community scientist.

Stop by anytime during the interpretive program to get one-on-one help with the iNaturalist app. Whether it’s your first observation or your hundredth, we’ll make sure you’re ready to document discoveries like a pro.
🚶 Guided Nature Walk
Join us on a fun, family-friendly walk through the park, using iNaturalist to identify plants, animals, and everything in between while learning tricks of the trade for spotting species.
