Everyone is invited to this community gathering as we come together to support All Nations Indian Church UCC. 5:30pm - Pizza dinner - fresh pizza from OSLC's backyard oven!
5:30pm - Pop-up community choir in the sanctuary (choir will eat at 6)
6:30pm- Program featuring Bear Runner singers, dancers, and guest speaker Rachel Dionne-Thunder of the Indigenous Protector Movement. We will be invited to take action together. We will also hear words from Dr. Kelly Sherman-Conroy of All Nations Indian UCC and from some of her Native students at Augsburg University. An offering will be collected to support the ministries of All Nations UCC. We invite you to give generously!

More about our speaker and performers:
Rachel Dionne-Thunder is nehiyo (Plains Cree) Treaty 8 First Nations Big Stone Cree Nation, a dedicated advocate for Indigenous rights, and University of Kentucky Masters graduate residing in Minneapolis, MN. Rachel is a co-founder and Vice President of Operations at the Indigenous Protector Movement. She facilitates the Women's Warrior Society and actively collaborates with community groups and organizations such as the Metropolitan Urban Indian Directors, the Little Earth Protectors, Many Shields, and the Native American Community Development Institute to foster impactful partnerships and build community strength. Her leadership extends to the Unity Community Mediation Team (UCMT), where she champions transformative public safety efforts and community-based support. Rachel is also involved in environmental advocacy, partnering with institutions to amplify Indigenous voices and protect sacred lands. Committed, strategic, and compassionate, she is a steadfast force for empowerment and social change within urban Indigenous communities.
Bear Runner singers are a local Minneapolis drum group established in 1991. We consist of many tribes that reside in the twin cities area. We enjoy singing for the community and also performing and educating people about our culture along with local dancers from the area.
