Step into an evening of remembrance music and vibration inside the historic Ivywild School. This Día de los Muertos gathering is a sound bath concert honoring the beauty of life the memory of loved ones and the power of community.
You’ll be guided through a live sound bath and musical journey with crystal singing bowls gongs flutes chimes classical guitar and the luminous voice of Charity—woven together to create a tapestry of sound that carries both reverence and celebration.
Sound baths use specific frequencies and vibrations to calm the nervous system soften the mind and support emotional release. These tones aren’t just heard—they’re felt resonating through the body like a gentle remembrance. Many leave feeling lighter more connected and deeply restored.
Led by Dr. Gigi Turner Dave Patrick Steve Manzo and Charity this concert-style immersion invites you to pause honor your roots and reconnect—with yourself with others and with those who came before us.
All are welcome. No prior experience with sound baths is needed.

- 𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐢𝐠𝐢 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐃 founder and owner of 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐞𝐬 has created Colorado Springs' premier sound bath sanctuary. Formerly a psychology professor and psychotherapist she combines her deep understanding of the mind with the healing power of sound. With over a decade of experience and an extensive collection of more than 100 singing bowls Gigi has guided thousands of participants through immersive and restorative sound journeys. Her expertise lies in crafting deeply soothing experiences that calm the nervous system promote profound relaxation and inspire inner healing.
- 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 a lifelong musician and classical guitarist brings a rich melodic element to the sound bath experience. With decades of musical expertise Dave’s playing creates a soothing atmosphere that enhances the resonance of the bowls and instruments weaving harmonic textures that invite a sense of deep peace and reflection.
- 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐨 is a multi-instrumentalist with a passion for sound and its healing potential. Influenced by his own experiences with sound baths Steve brings a unique musical perspective to each session offering layers of meditative frequencies. Currently studying film and game scoring his expertise in composition and music production allows him to craft immersive auditory landscapes. When he’s not accompanying Singing Bowls of the Rockies Steve connects with the local music scene works on personal projects and finds inspiration in the sounds of nature.

A sound bath is a meditative experience that uses sustained tones and harmonic frequencies to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and promote deep relaxation. As sound waves interact with the body—composed largely of water—they create gentle vibrations that can help reduce stress hormones regulate heart rate and shift brainwaves from an active beta state to calmer alpha and theta states associated with rest and introspection.
Our sound baths feature over 70 instruments including:Crystal and Tibetan Singing Bowls (with 5 chakra-tuned sets) Crystal Quartzophone Harp Native and Harmony Flutes Zaphir and Bar Chimes Rain Stick Buffalo and Ocean Drums Steel Tongue Drum Handpans Kalimba Tingshas and other traditional instruments used in therapeutic sound practices worldwide.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠:
𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐲𝐨𝐠𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧 to lie on as the ground is hard. You can also bring a blanket and pillow and whatever else you'd like to be comfortable during the sound bath. Please dress comfortably bring water and eat beforehand.

If you have any serious medical condition (i.e. metal in the body/brain injury tinnitus epilepsy metal in the body etc...) make sure you get written permission from your doctor allowing your attendance of a live sound bath. The reason being that some conditions do not take well to the strong vibrations of sound baths. Additionally please inform Gigi of your condition before joining us at our sound bath thank you!
