Centurion Foundation Honors NYPD Chief of Department John Chell, NYSP First Deputy Superintendent R. Chris West & Community Leader Deborah Edell

Come join us at Avra Madison on September 18, 2025 for our annual fundraiser as we pay tribute to our heroes - the men and women of the New York Police Department (NYPD) and New York State Police (NYSP). This in-person event is our way of showing appreciation for their dedication and service to our community and their tireless efforts to keep us safe. Our 2025 honorees are NYPD Chief of DepartmentJohn Chell, NYSP First Deputy Superintendent R. Christopher West and Community Leader Deborah Edell.

The Centurion Foundation supports numerous public safety agencies both locally and nationally, with primary emphasis on the NYPD and the NY State Police. We provide support for widows and orphans of officers injured or killed in the line of duty, award ceremonies, special needs of the departments, and funding for training and scholarships for police officers and their children. Educational programs we directly support include training on counterterrorism and homicide investigation. The Centurion Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit.
